The Otolith Group. Thoughtform

Curated by Chus Martínez and shown at MACBA from 3 February to 29 May 2011, the exhibition applied The Otolith Group's own working method to its own making. The London-based collective, founded by Anjalika Sagar and Kodwo Eshun, interwove films, texts, documents, photographs, paintings, sound and music to examine the role of documents and images in constructing narratives of the post-colonial world. The show was co-produced with MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo, Rome, where it travelled from 7 October 2011 to 5 February 2012.
