Spanish curator, art historian and writer. Director of the Institute Art Gender Nature at FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel, and artistic director of Ocean Space, Venice. Previously chief curator at El Museo del Barrio, New York (2012–2014), MACBA (2008–2010), and director of Frankfurter Kunstverein (2005–2008). Member of the core group for dOCUMENTA(13).
