Samsul Alam Helal

Bangladeshi visual artist based in Dhaka. Graduated in photography from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. Works with photography, video and installation, often staging fictional scenarios with working-class and marginalised communities. His project Love Studio (2014–) turns an old Dhaka photo studio into a set where factory workers and neighbours enact their dreams.
