Naeem Mohaiemen
Artist working with film, photography, installation and essays on the postcolonial history of South Asia, particularly the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. His films Tripoli Cancelled and Two Meetings and a Funeral (both 2017) premiered at documenta 14 and were part of his Turner Prize nomination. PhD in anthropology, Columbia University, 2019, where he is Associate Professor of Visual Arts.
