Muhannad Shono is an artist based in Riyadh working across installation, sculpture, drawing, and film, with a recurring interest in kinetic and robotic elements. His work explores memory, the power of narrative, and notions of the natural, and he represented Saudi Arabia at the 59th Venice Biennale (2022) with the large-scale installation The Teaching Tree.
