Her research-based practice engages with colonial history, the African diaspora and resistance movements, as in Flowers for Africa (ongoing). Marcel Duchamp Prize (2020), Sobey Art Award (2018), Zurich Art Prize (2022). Represented Canada at the 60th Venice Biennale (2024).
