Mozambican painter, born in Maputo in 1976. Trained at the Visual Art School of Maputo (1997–99). Works with gestural, expressionist mark-making, incorporating African textile patterns and personal symbols into abstracted, figure-laden canvases. Based in Porto since the mid-2010s.
